The Mileștii Mici Wine Run 2021 is postponed. Unfortunately, the situation with the COVID-19 epidemic in Moldova remains tense, and the borders remain closed. We don’t want to endanger your health and therefore invite you to take part in the next Mileștii Mici Wine Run edition, which is due on 6 February 2022.

On Sunday, September 27, the most unusual and international edition of the Chisinau Marathon, the Online Chisinau International Marathon 2020, ended. On this day, runners in T-shirts decorated with competition symbols could be seen not only in Chisinau, but also in Ungheni, Balti, Soroca, in several cities in Transnistria, in the USA, Italy, Romania, Greece and even in India.

On February 9, the winter wine race, Mileștii Mici Wine Run, was held at the venue of Mileștii Mici Winery. This year, participants from over 19 countries covered 10 km through the underground cellars.

Спортсмены пробежали последний этап Rubicon и пересекли финишную черту трехдневной эстафеты. За 54 часа 42 минуты ультрамарафонцы преодолели дистанцию в 504 км с юга страны на север.
Маршрут состоял из 42 этапов, каждый из которых бежала небольшая группа участников. Больше всего этапов пришлось на территорию Кагульского района, где спортсмены пробежали 78 км. Самым коротким этапом всей ультрамарафонской эстафеты стал этап в городе Вулканешты — 7,79 км.
Результаты ультрамарафона и имена победителей станут известны в понедельник, 22 февраля. Победителями станут участники, которые пробежали самую длинную дистанцию.
Напомним, что Rubicon — трехдневная ультрамарафонская эстафета через всю Молдову. В этом году гонка поменяла направление. Участники стартовали с площади в селе Джурджулешты, а финишировали в Бричанах.
На протяжении всего маршрута, местные жители и партнеры поддерживали бегунов, встречая их горячей едой и напитками. В отдельных населенных пунктах, к участникам ультрамарафона присоединились дети, представители местных администраций.
Организаторы ультрамарафона Rubicon 2021 благодарят за поддержку и помощь в проведении гонки:

Организаторы выражают отдельную благодарность властям местного самоуправления районов и населенных пунктов, по которым прошел маршрут Rubicon 2021, в частности примару городу Хынчешть Александру Ботнарь, примару и священнику прихода села Костулень, служащим INSP и их руководителю Юрию Дементьеву, государственному секретарю MAI Янушу Ерхан, государственному секретарю MECC Ивану Георгиу, а также администрации города Рышканы, Вулканешты, Единец и Бричаны.
