About the event
Invited Karateka: Practitioners of all levels (colored and black belts) are welcome. We will be honored by the presence of masters and sensei with advanced black belts recognized by the International Karate Federation (JKA), as well as beginners and interested spectators.
The event will showcase fundamental elements of karate:
• Instructors will demonstrate kata (shadow fighting) and kumite (combat techniques with an opponent), explaining the purpose of each exercise.
• The audience will also have the chance to participate in board breaking – tameshiwari – an impressive karate tradition, under expert guidance.
• In addition, a 15–20 minute master class will allow each participant to learn basic moves and receive feedback from instructors and masters.
