Valea Morilor Park

Valea Morilor Park is one of the parks of the Chisinau municipium, the capital of Moldova. The park is located in the Centru sector between Alexei Mateevici St. in the north and Grigore Alexandrescu St. in the west, the Moldexpo exhibition center in the south and the Valea Dicescu district in the east. Valea Morilor Park (which translates from Romanian as Valley of the Mills) is one of the favorite holiday destinations of Chisinau residents and guests of the Moldovan capital. There is an artificial reservoir in the park – Valea Morilor Lake (the old name – Komsomol Lake), the amusement park "Aventura Park". Next to the park, actually part of it, there is the Moldexpo exhibition center with an open-air "museum of Soviet sculpture". There are also several cafes in the area. The park is connected to many urban spots by trolleybus, bus and minibus routes.
