The Purcari Wine Run trail wine run took place on Sunday, September 12, at the Chateau Purcari and brought together over 200 athletes and trail runners.
This year, in addition to the already known 10 km distance, the race introduced a new 21 km distance. What’s more, each distance has its own route: the 10 km route goes through the vineyards of the Purcari winery, while the 21 km route goes along the picturesque places of the Dniester bank.
At the 10-km distance, the top three finishers were:

As a reminder, Purcari Wine Run is the only race in Moldova that merges sports and recreation. Here you can find a real combo: running, the best Moldovan wines at pit stops, the finish at sunset, camping in one of the eco-zones of Moldova and the Mamaliga Party.
